Consider these cold, hard historical facts:
one has to know) If you know that no team less than a # 4 seed has the championship for 20 years in a row, won, you may want toRemove # 5 and # 12 Purdue Arizona.
This can be # 1 seed Pittsburgh, Connecticut, North Carolina and Louisville, # 2 seed Duke, Memphis, Oklahoma and Michigan State, # 3 seed Villanova, Missouri,
Syracuse, Kansas, and # 4 seed Xavier and Gonzaga.
2) Only three of the # 1 seeds are probably on the Final 4 because only 70% of the # 1 seeds advance advance into the elite 8th The probability say that either Pittsburgh, Connecticut, North Carolina or Louisville is not among theElite 8th
3) Amazingly, only one or two # 1 seeds have it in the final four in 18 of the last 24 years. Last year was an exception, because all four # 1 seeds made it into the final four for the first time ever.
