The NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament is half way over on. A week ago we had 65 teams, all with different goals and expectations, and now there are only 16 teams left. The sweet 16th Some of these teams, Kentucky and Syracuse as expected, though, not to be here, and will not be satisfied until they make the last four.
Other teams, such as Cornell and Northern Iowa, probably really do not expect that to make it as far, and even if they lose this week, will feel this tournamentwas a success. Cornell could be a threat because of their three-point gun, but I just can not see them hanging KY, and I expect a two-digit number loss, but also a high expectation of scoring game. But either way, it's nice to see the Ivy League represented.
Hey, the Bulldogs are also in there. Oh wait, it's not Yale, it is the Butler Bulldogs. How many teams are Bulldogs in the NCAA at all? This seems to be to win the Bulldogs bet for safe use in the NCAA, you probablyhave one in four chance of the right. And then there are teams like Kansas and Georgetown, the first or second round had ended, and only need to question what went wrong. One thing is sure, even the cleverest College Hoop supporters probably will not see the coming collapse of Kansas. This leaves a lot of busted brackets. This could leave low ratings for the Final Four. I think that many people follow only true Hoops followers, left in the March Madness onlyStaples, especially if they have money on the games, but even if they do not. Other people who follow these games do so because of school or in their essence of their alma mater.
With a lot of potential last fall, four teams already out of the tournament, and possibly more top seeds in the next round, we could end up with some bottom seeds reaching the finals, and this could lead to fewer TV ratings. There are a number of top players on teams violate remaining, I would expectthe lines at the same until we get closer to game time, and we have a better idea of who plays and how players are hurt to stay real. We know Darryl Bryant will certainly definitely can for West Virginia and Washington, to win this game, the more that Bryant is out, but they would probably still have to play KY, so that at the end I do not see that game that really make if one Final Four potential. Let us not forget the Duke Blue Devils. This could be her year. KY could fall onlybecause they have no experience.
Duke, some would argue, had the easiest road to Final Four, but if they end up lowering the nets in Indy, it will not matter because the Elite 8, Final Four, and the championship game, no matter who it is not there easy for them. Your big three dominated not even real and they still win the big money, so they are facing a dangerous team in the coming weeks. I think at least for this next round, Purdue will be able to hang out, their D should keep the game under a double-digit lead, but I do not see their offense can keep up. As far as a simple way, nobody will remember in a few years when we look back on the record books, and it shows all the teams Duke plays to win the championship, will remind many of us do not even remember how good or bad, the other teams. And the Blue Devils to get another banner in their gym to hang, and at the end is that all that really matters.
Now if this all over thenext few weeks we will be talking already about the upcoming NBA and NHL playoffs and the start of the MLB and college football season, but we will have to be for the coming year "bracket, already in the back of our heads, potential upsets only one short year away.
