The ball is great. Great feel, great weight, feels good coming off the tips of the fingers when shooting, but is it just me or does the ball seem smaller than others. It says that it is official size but it looked small compared to my older ball. Anyone have any info because I'm just curious. Other than my curiousity, the ball is perfect.

Buying Spalding TF-1000 ZK Pro Official Size Basketball

Over All Rating Reviews :

Bought the ball based on price...as most of us do. Price was great...$10-15 below local stores. Shipping was fast as usual & free.

Unfortunately, this ball had a MUCH firmer feel than the exact same ball I bought in a local store a few months ago. MUCH harder feel than basketballs I felt yesterday in the store, as well. Yes, they are all the same model, so I am comparing apples-to-apples here. The ball is still of good quality and not damaged in any way. It is just a warm-up / shoot around ball now. Everyone I hoop with is used to the usual soft feel of the TF-1000 ball. Between us we have 4 other TF-1000's and they are all comparable in feel - this one is just...off.

From now on, with items like this, where feel is so important. I will pay the extra $10-15 at the local store so that I know exactly what I am getting.

Oh well...
