This pump is just *barely* effective at inflating my basketball. When you put the needle in the ball, air starts leaking from the top of the pump immediately. I have to pump as fast as I can to outpace the constant leak.

The pump is cheap, and it's technically working, but it sucks. Buy something else.

Waste of time and money and the postage to me cost as much as the pump. My guess is mine was defective as we could get very little air out of it. So little that we were pumping so hard and fast (2 of us) that we snapped the needle and actually ruin the new basketball that I had ordered with the pump. Rather than getting the same old Amazon line I twisted the pump into knots and threw it away with the basketball that's all the satisfaction I got from this product and order.[...]
