It seems that this basketball has gone through some radical changes - the grooves are not as wide as previously, when you look at this new ball side by side with the older model; it appears to be smaller, not by much but still smaller.
Otherwise it is balanced correctly, it still has the signature "pebble" pattern which helps in securing the ball in the palm of the player's hand and it appears to be quite well put together.
It will take a few weeks of play to determine whether or not this "new" ball is as good as the previous one but whenever I go to a basketball game, everyone insist on using the older version.
I would like to know if anyone else agrees or disagree with this review.
